Sadie is my name, and I’m looking forward to finding a lifelong home with people who love and respect me for who I am. I come with a bonded mate, Sonny. I start out shy but warm up quickly if I’m in an environment that I feel safe in. I’m learning routines and commands in my current foster home. I need a home with older dog-savvy children 10yrs and older, and one that will not push me when I am worried. I may never be a social butterfly; I’m more of an introvert, one who bonds with her family and is content.  Sadie is a very sweet little girl who is happiest in a lap with her bonded mate, Sonny.  Best guess, Sadie is 2yrs.  She is working on house training and is picking is up the task quickly. Sadie is learning basic commands quickly. Because of her “escape” tendencies, she has access to a small portion of the yard as we are working on house training and then returning to the door. Sadie walks well on a leash. She gets along well with other small dogs and cats.
Sadie would do well with someone that understands she needs to stay with her bonded mate, Sonny. A quiet environment would be best for them because she does get nervous when there is commotion. She loves to snuggle on the couch in a blanket, next to her mate, Sonny. She is curious about the chickens and goats but hasn’t had the opportunity to have access to them without being on a leashSonny and Sadie are a bonded pair and they need to stay together. The adoption fee is $200 for both.
